We are excited to host you in beautiful Highlands, North Carolina for our wedding weekend! The closest major airport to Highlands, NC, is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), located about 1.5 to 2 hours away, offering commercial flights. For larger international hubs, Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) (approx. 2 hours) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) (approx. 2.5–3 hours) are the best alternatives. October is peak season in Highlands, so we recommend booking your accommodations as early as possible. Most properties offer flexible cancellation policies, but we encourage you to review the terms carefully before confirming. We’ve linked several hotel options we recommend below, and there are also numerous vacation rental, Airbnb and VRBO options available throughout the Highlands area.

The Park On Main

The Skyline Lodge offers a mountain retreat with the comforts and creative surroundings of an historical destination. Hidden in the mountains of Highlands, N.C., the architecture of the lodge was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. This property is the closest hotel to our wedding venue and is also where the Welcome Party will be held. We have a block of rooms reserved at this hotel.

Trailborn Highlands is a redesigned and renovated 63-room hotel in Highlands, North Carolina. The property is surrounded by 4.5 acres of lush woods and includes The Highlands Supper Club — a stand-alone restaurant housed in a historic Joe Webb log cabin, a renowned local, 20th century builder.
